the networking with the tree
has ceased for some time
that detachment
can take place.
A detached leaf
is a colour pot
left ajar.
It dries more,
then gently rots
with time,
feed for all who can,
under the gentle stroke
of the eyes sensitive to
the colour blend,
for those who can’t.
